8-DAY WOMEN’S MINDFULNESS & SELF-CARE RETREAT IN SHIKOKU, JAPAN

Minimalist Is Happier — Stillness, Simplicity, and Remembering Who You Are

Small groups · Gentle fasting · Meditation · Self-care · Nature

Are You Tired of Always Being “On”?

This is your invitation to pause, breathe, and return to yourself.

Shikoku doesn’t ask you to change.

It simply reminds you who you already are.

Welcome to Shikoku — Japan’s Sacred Island of Stillness

Hidden between mountains and sea, Shikoku is one of Japan’s most spiritual lands — the birthplace of Kūkai (Kōbō Daishi), the monk who founded the 88-Temple pilgrimage and dedicated his life to peace and compassion.

Here, time moves slowly. The air is pure. The people live with omotenashi — sincere, heartfelt care.
It’s a place where you don’t need to try.

You simply arrive — and peace begins to arrive within you.

About the Retreat

For eight days and seven nights, you’ll live gently — free from rush, comparison, and distraction.

Each day blends meditation, mindful eating, intermittent fasting, and self-massage for awareness — simple practices that return you to balance.

Meals are light, local, and full of life: steamed or raw vegetables and fruits from nearby farms.

Silence is honored as a space for healing.

The rhythm is natural, unhurried, and deeply restorative.

This retreat is not about learning more

— it’s about remembering what you already know:

that peace, love, and beauty were never lost.

What You’ll Experience

  • Guided meditation and mindfulness each day

  • Gentle intermittent fasting for clarity and energy

  • Self-massage and body awareness practices

  • Temple visit for quiet reflection and gratitude

  • Healing beach walk at sunrise

Minimalist is happier.

When you return to simplicity, you rediscover your true self.

Why Seven Nights Matter

The body and mind need time to truly slow down.
Here’s what most guests experience:

Days 1–2: You exhale. The noise quiets. Sleep deepens.

Days 3–4: The body feels lighter; thoughts soften; cravings fade.

Days 5–7: Something opens — a grounded clarity, a new calm.

You start feeling different by day 4.

You leave changed by day 7.

A shorter 5-day version is possible if your schedule is limited — please contact our concierge for details.

What You’ll Gain

  • A calm nervous system and lighter body

  • Clearer thinking and emotional balance

  • Gentle detox from overstimulation and stress

  • Awareness of how to eat and live with presence

  • Sustainable self-care practices you can bring home

  • A deep, quiet sense of peace and self-acceptance
